Colourpop is an LA-based cosmetics company that produces high quality makeup sold at affordable prices exclusively online. What makes them special to me is their way of collaborating with bloggers and style-influencers in order to market their variety of lip products, eyeshadows, and so forth.

This is how I found out about Colourpop! I first heard about them through their collaboration with Youtuber ItsMyRayeRaye. Then came their partnership with fashion-influencer Feral Creature, and then another one of my favorite Youtubers Jenn Im. With so much influence from the people I love to watch, I was planning on purchasing some products, but the truth was I didn't know where to start. After having one of their eyeshadows used on me during a photoshoot, I decided to start by ordering what's called their Super Shock Shadows and even a highlighter. After paying only $30 I got six Super Shock Shadows, one highlighter, and two free eyeshadow brushes. What a steal! I usually pay that much for one makeup product in comparison. Because I like using golds and rosy pinks on my eyes, I stuck to that color palette when choosing what I wanted. Here are the shades that I got.

1. Might Be {Highlighter}
2. Tea Party
3. Sequin
4. Cat Nap
5. La La
6. Birthday Girl
7. Amaze`

Cat Nap in particular was apart of their collaboration with the Best Friends Animal Society where all the proceeds go to No-Kill Los Angeles (NKLA) in efforts to save animals from shelters. This shade did discontinue previously but now it's back as a permanent addition to Colourpop's Super Shock Shadows! It even comes separately packaged with a card featuring a cute animal to thank you for the donation, which is a nice touch I might add.

Overall, my first postal order from Colourpop was impressive to say the least. All the Super Shock Shadows are highly pigmented and add a glowing touch to my eyes when used. Additionally, the highlighter makes a statement in and out of any lighting, making it a favorite finishing step in my makeup routine. Being so impressed with a small portion of their products, I'll be sure to check out their Lippie Stix as well as the fairly popular Ultra Matte Lip stains.

With the Winter being as cold as ever, even in sunny Southern California, switching from sandals to boots in absolutely necessary. Boots are on my favorite kind of shoes to collect, as they seamlessly go with any outfit. I like to keep a variety of different styles in order to keep my outfit stylish while staying warm, fashion and function. With inspiration from King Saddle Ranch Shop, here are my favorite boots for the cold Winter season.
Western Cowgirl Boots
I love wearing leather western boots when it gets chilly outside. The brown heel not only keeps me dry when walking in the rain, but adds a pop of detail to my monochrome outfit. It was hard for me to find a classic quality style like this, but once I found a pair I wear them every time the temperature cools down. If you're looking for a western boot like this one, King Saddle Ranch Shop has a number selections to choose from for cowboys and multiple styles for cowgirls

Moto Boots
Moto boots are essential when coming to wearing jeans. With their leather exterior and chain-like design they look cool and keep your feet nice and comfortable for bike riding or walking for long periods of time.

Chelsea Boots
Chelsea boots are a classic. They are the perfect choice for any outfit as they slide on quickly and easily. I like to pair Chelsea boots with almost every outfit, as they more sophistication to the look.

Cutout Boots
Everyone needs a pair of statement shoes, and with my boot obsession, I had to have these. These shoes are some of the most versatile as I can wear them in the summer the way they are or switch it up by adding socks or tights in the Winter. They are the perfect choice when I wasn't to stand out more.

When coming to interiors, I tend to be inspired by the beauty of the French balcony. The reflection of simplicity and elegance are what I would love to see in something like a dream vanity. Lately I've become more interested in beauty as getting my makeup ready for the day is one of my favorite things to do. I always think about creating a space solely for the process, to make me feel more organized and of course more glamourous. With inspiration from the multiple Frenc-inspired items on Arhaus.com, I was able to create my idea of the perfect Parisian-inspired vanity space.
Instead of taking up space with a desk lamp, I would feature a chandelier or pendant lighting in my vanity area so that I can see myself properly when applying makeup. I would choose a light with gold accents to add to the French-inspired theme of the space I would want to create. The pendant lighting on A
Organization
For my makeup, I'd rather feature a couple of products and keep organized elsewhere. This lipstick and makeup brush holder are perfect for displaying some of my favorite products while still looking simplistic and organized. Additionally, I would add hanging organization units on the walls next to vanity featuring a couple of fragrances and maybe even some of my favorite eyeshadow pallets. The perfect finishing touch to any space would have to be a scented candle. I love how this one
Seating
Seating is definitely an important aspect of the vanity area, you have a comfortable yet chic chair to sit in. I'm absolutely in love with these fur chairs as they look like they would be comfortable to sit in while doing my makeup routine.
Decor
I'm a fan of minimalism, and instead of hanging inspirational quotes or pictures in my vanity space, I'd rather feature some of my favorite fashion books as a means of decoration. Plus, if anyone were to come over, they could pick a book their interested in reading. I'd put the books on a small nightstand so that I have as much space as possible on my actual vanity.
Mirror
A vanity space is simply incomplete without a mirror and I love these big dramatic gold ones. They remind me of French architecture and if I had it my way, I'd definitely have one of these selections for my vanity.
